This craft was intended to be a hair clip. But I think it would make a great flower to put on a gift! Or you might just let the kids make a bunch of flowers, add a stem, and make a bouquet! Great way to recycle those decks of cards that have a bent or missing card. See how to make a playing card flower here.
Here is a fun way to recycle cereal boxes… turn them into gift tags! This would be a good project to make in advance, so you always have gift tags when you need them. See how to make cereal box gift tags here.

I just love this idea! Look how cute these puppets are. They are made from empty pasta boxes. If you are one of my Deals by Darlene followers, I know you have lots of pasta boxes for this craft! I love how the window in the pasta box turns into the puppet’s mouth. Your kids will go wild with this craft. See how to make the pasta box puppets here.

Here is an easy way to make your very own laundry soap. I have been wanting to try this recipe ever since we started watching the Duggar Family. In fact, this is the Duggar’s recipe!
All you need are these things to make your detergent:
1 Bar Fels-Naptha Soap
1 Cup Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
½ Cup Borax
4 Cups hot tap water
5 Gallon Bucket and Lid
1 Clean and Empty Detergent Container
You can get all the items at Walmart including the bucket and lid if you need one. Both the Borax and the Arm & Hammer Washing Soda are in the laundry detergent aisle. I have not looked for the soap yet, but my best guess is in with bar soap.
As you can see above, the supplies are very cheap (those are Walmart prices). I don’t know how much a bucket is. But one batch of this recipe makes 10 gallons of detergent, plus you will still have plenty of left over Borax and Washing Soda to make more batches. So, you can see it’s very cost efficient. And from what I’ve read by others who have made this soap, it works great and can be used in traditional or HE machines.
